It is with deep regret the Springfield Fire Company announces the Line of Duty Death of Philadelphia Fire Department Lieutenant Matthew LeTourneau. Lieutenant LeTourneau is also a Life Member of the Springfield Fire Company. Our Thoughts and Prayers go out to both his Family and Firefighting Family. As information becomes available we will update as provided.
The Philadelphia Fire Department has released information on funeral rites for Lt. Matthew LeTourneau. Two public viewings will be held at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, followed by a funeral Mass. The Cathedral is located at 18th Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
Details on the funeral procession and media logistics will be released soon.

Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pa. Arrangements by the O’Leary Funeral Home in Springfield
This years offering of the Wills for Heroes event hosted by the Delaware County Fallen Firefighter & EMS Memorial Committee will be October 7th 2017 at the Springfield Fire Company, 217 Saxer Ave Springfield, PA 19064.
Appointments start at 11:00am through the afternoon, sessions take about an hour and are open to all active Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement Personnel, Military Veterans and each of their significant others.
It's very important for you and your loved ones, for you to have a Will, Living Will, Medical and Financial Power of Attorney! It's easier than you think and doesn't take as long as you think. Sign up for an appointment at www.PABAR.org/WFH/ and use password SFC.
